Monday, April 18th at 7 pm

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, Founders’ Hall

3313 Wade Ave., Raleigh NC 27607

Russell Herman will provide a briefing to our members in preparation for our National Day of Reason event. We will learn:

  • The role of an usher
  • Welcoming attendees and providing good information
  • Modeling the desired tone and behavior
  • Responding to difficulties that arise

Herman draws on four decades of organizing experience in multiple movement sectors to advise activist groups, to coach their leaders and organizers, and to foster cooperation among them. He provides trainings for groups that want to learn democratic group decision-making, demonstration planning, nonviolent direct action, civil disobedience, and other key tools for social change. He works tirelessly to bring various activist groups in North Carolina together to foster cooperation and achieve shared goals.

In his work with Organize North Carolina, Herman seeks to foster mutual support and solidarity among various activist groups that strive for a society where all humans cooperate in freedom and peace.

Gifts from people like you support his work.
